MORRISONS
AGAIN !!

I was queuing at the Kiosk in Morrisons supermarket today.
In front of me was a little old lady, at least 70 years old and not more than 5 feet tall.
Elderly and frail. She was the next in the queue.
As it became her turn to be served, a regular female kiosk staff member who I have seen there many times before,  in uniform but apparently off-duty or going to or from her break, pushed in front of this old lady and started to be served by one of the two female staff members behind the counter.

The old lady, myself, and rest of the queue behind me had to shuffle sideways to be served by the second female staff member. By the time the old lady had been served, and myself, these two staff members were still chatting amiably and completely ignoring the other customers in the queue.

OUTRAGEOUS !!!!

When are these bloody people going to show some respect for their customers ????

And, despite my complaining to the checkout manager on two occasions,  most of the checkout cashiers are still too lazy to slide the "next customer" dividers along the slide but keep them at the till end.

APPALLING !!!

Seen the adverts for Asda's
"10% cheaper"   promotion?

In case you haven't,
they're saying that you will save 10% on your shopping bill if you shop with them.

Otherwise, they will refund the difference if your shopping costs more.

Er........HOW?

The only way you could possibly prove to Asda that your shopping was more at "another" supermarket would be to buy two lots of identical shopping and show Asda the bill from the other supermarket.

How else can you prove to them that you (would) have paid more, elsewhere?

DUMB MARKETING !!

(Interestingly, I only saw that TV advert on one day. Never since. Is that a coincidence, or..... )

SUPERMARKET CASHIERS

Some supermarket checkout cashiers infuriate me.

They can be one of the laziest entities in the working populace. They have a slide to accommodate the "next customer" dividers which they are supposed to push or flick along that slide, so that customers further down the queue can use them to separate their shopping from the persons in front or behind.
But most cashiers can't be bothered!
The cashiers either chuck them nearby, NOT on the slide, or if they do put them on the slide they don't push them  away, but just leave them at their end of the slide. Only if they put a second divider on the slide does the first one get moved further along.  Iceland are by far the worst, Morrisons are a close second, and the other leading supermarkets are not far behind.
Don't be so bloody lazy!!!

And managers, if you're reading this, tell your staff to buck their bloody ideas up and
use the facilities they have properly!
